I usually don't like to critic bands to harshly because the way I see it they are out there doing there thing and trying to make something of themselves, However every once and awhile I have to make an exception....This is one of those times. I came across a band on iTunes today that I never heard of before that sounded fairly promising considering its ratings. So I gave them a listen.....big mistake! They call themself Hawk Nelson and they are horrible! First off let's forget that they sound like they haven't reached puberty yet and move on to their lyrics. Hawk Nelson is a Christian Band and their lyrics reflect that. Normally I have no problem with Christian Bands. Hell a few of my favorite bands(Evanesence, Creed, and Relient K) are Christian Bands. But I digress, they have one song titled "Letters to the President" where they rank same sex marriage to be as bad as murder, rape,and grand theft auto! Are they serious? Yes they are. Don't believe me? Here are the lyrics, check them out for yourself below. Now the lyrics are not the only bad thing, the instrumentals are week and they sound like every other generic pop/punk band out there and sound like they belong on some Kidz Bop CD! I can NOT believe all the positive reviews they got in iTunes!?!?!?

As a server 99.9 percent of my earnings come from tips. That being said, the economys current state of turmoil has paid it's price on my earnings. My resturant used to be fairly busy but now it is deader then kevin federlines career. I went into work today at four and I am already home. Why you ask? Because there were 15 servers on and only 3 guest in the entire resturant. Keep in mind that it's Friday and four months ago there would have been a twenty minute wait by the time I walked in the door. I didn't even get to serve one table. Yay recession!

Q: What's the best excuse you've ever heard?
A: That would have to be "I did my part of the powerpoint but my laptop fell out my bedroom window when i tripped over my powercord before i could save it to my flash drive". Needless to say neither I nor the the professor bought it.....especially because I knew my fellow classmate had a desktop, not a laptop.
So I decided that i needed a space to clear my mind, sort things out, and get my opinions heard. So I decided to start blogging. However I'm new to blogging and would like some feedback from bloggers with some long time experience. Which do you prefer Blogger or Vox? What are some of the benefits and disadvantages of each?
